The Red River Valley Asperger Network has a twofold mission. We first aim to provide a source of information and support for anyone affected by Asperger Syndrome (AS) or another Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in the Red River Valley Area. In this website we have gathered information especially for parents with a child diagnosed with AS. However, it is also intended to help adult individuals with AS and anyone who comes into contact with individuals with the AS diagnosis.

Our second purpose is to create an alliance or network of local professionals and resources for families, and individuals with the AS diagnosis. The RRVAN is committed to raising awareness within our educational, medical and law enforcement communities about AS by distributing information and facilitating educational opportunities. Advocating on behalf of individuals with AS and their families, we hope to spread the word about Asperger Syndrome.
